I arrived in Turkey with my mum feeling very nervous and apprehensive about what I was about to do. We were collected at the airport by a mini-van. Although the driver spoke no English, he was very kind. Our initial hotel was lovely, but we didn’t like the area due to the lack of English speakers, making communication challenging. We decided to move to the Kordon Hotel, which was a much better choice. The team there was extremely helpful. The day of the consultation was nerve-racking, but meeting the surgeon put me at ease. I felt very comfortable. I was then driven to the hospital for my operation. Gazi Hospital is very clean; however, the air conditioning in my room was poor, so I had to buy a fan. Most nurses were lovely, with only one English speaker. Luckily, we had a translator named Tuba with us throughout our hospital stay. She was very nice and made the experience fun for both me and my mum, providing great assistance. The surgery was successful, although I experienced mild pain and vomiting due to the anaesthetic. The nurses were very supportive during this time. It has been around 2 weeks since I returned home from Turkey, and I am extremely pleased with the results! I definitely recommend Revitalize; this has been a life-changing experience, making me a much more confident person thanks to the team!
