I will start with there were 3 of us that went out together, and we didn’t have the consultation first in London as we all knew what we wanted. We had messages and photos back and forth through Jackie, and we were happy to proceed. When we got to their airport, there was someone to take us to the villa. Once at the villa, all worries disappear. Everyone is welcoming, the patients who have just had operations as well as the carers. The following day, I went to the clinic for my consultation and to pay; the other 2 were booked in for the next day as I was having more done. You are then taken straight to the hospital to have your op. You’re welcomed by Tuba who stays with you for most of your stay in the hospital. She flits between the ladies having work done and stays with whoever needs her most. A very lovely, kind, and friendly person. She even went out shopping for food for one patient. On the day of returning back to the villa, there are others on the bus either just going to the hospital or going for check-ups. They do the dropping off and picking up all on the route of each other. But it’s nice to chat to other patients who are all at different stages of recovery. Once back, all you want to do is sleep and rest, but the next day, you’re up and cooked meals that are very healthy. All chatting about what have had done, and you soon feel you’re becoming a family. Teona and her family were lovely, who look after everyone. Teona helps change dressings, washes your hair, checks you’re ok, anything you want really. A couple of cons to it all are I would advise you to take DVDs of your own as not many of theirs were English or played properly, and that rooms are not en-suite. That is about the only thing I could fault in the villa. In the hospital, the fact that other nurses could not speak English was a small issue, but Tuba was about a lot. The nurses were lovely and tried to help as much as they could. There were emails saying what to do before and once you’re back for recovery. On the whole, I would say your recovery while in the villa and 3 check-ups in 7 days are better than you would get in England. And 1 garment required is included, but you can buy more if you wish. My friend received a lot less in England, and we had similar ops. In fact, I had more. My cost was £4700; hers was £9000. I’m happy enough that I’m going back in January for more work.
