Excellent team, first-class care and attention. Cannot fault anything! Following email correspondence with Turan, who answered all my questions and concerns about getting procedures done, my partner and I booked our flights from Edinburgh via Istanbul to Izmir. We arrived on the 15th of March 2014. We were met at the airport as advised and taken to the Comfort Residence Apartments. Our apartment exceeded our expectations, and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were picked up as advised on the following Monday morning and taken to Dr. Cenk’s Clinic. There, we both had our consultations with Dr. Cenk. My partner then had his upper and lower eyelids done under local anaesthetic in his clinic, which took around 2 hours. Turan stayed with me in the waiting room while we chatted during his procedure. As soon as Andy’s procedure finished, a massive improvement was noticeable! It is now day 8, Andy’s minimal bruising has disappeared, and he looks 10 years younger! I was then taken to Izmir Hospital while Andy returned to our apartment. I was greeted by Tuba, who stayed with me from admission to discharge, catering to my every need. She was like a mum, an absolute godsend. I underwent surgery for 4 hours, with one overnight stay. Tuba slept on a sofa bed in my private room with a balcony. After returning to the apartment, my partner and I relaxed until our eyelid stitches and my head bandages were removed by Dr. Cenk at his clinic. We flew back to the UK on the 22nd of March. It is now the 24th of March, 8 days post-surgery, and the wounds are healing well, with my swelling reducing daily. I had never had any surgery until now and wish I had done it sooner.
