Well where do I start – so wanted to give them 10 stars but as their is only 5 that will have to do!!
I had a Gastric Bypass in June 2009 – having lost 13 stone …… yes 13 stone!! in 18 months and maintaining for over a year I was feeling somewhat deflated!! At 36 I looked in the mirror and felt 86!! I had bingo wings that could knock small children out and my boobs!?!?……well to say they looked like spaniel ears is an insult to spaniels.
My best friend had been to revitalize a couple of years ago and I had always kept them in mind as she had had such amazing treatment. I met Turan, Jackie and Dr Cenk in London on the 18th Nov 2011 and flew out on the 17th December before surgery on the 19th!!! A well deserved christmas present to myself!! The op was long and i was pretty shabby for a bit – having the 3 ops in one hit was probably a little much to get over in 4 weeks so have had another 2 weeks off with huge amount of support from my GPs here – infact both have been most impressed by the surgery and one even said it was the best boob job she had ever seen!!!
I lost about 8lb from the surgery – bingo wings gone plus legs lifted and my boobs are amazing!!!! – especially as they were lifted 10 and 13 cms!!!! I went alone and paid a little extra for a carer to stay at the apartment and in hospital with me – she was fab as were all the turkish team! Nothing was to much trouble at the apartments and the breakfasts were amazing!! Dont worry about the flight home – the clinic gives you a letter to show the airline as I couldnt lift my luggage – and nothing popped in the air even though I worried it might!!!
I have had some nerve/healing pain with my arms but nothing that would stop me from doing it all again!! Just dont be like me and try to run before you can walk – although its cosmetic when you do go for multiple ops it can be as much as a slog on your body as normal surgery.
I am thoroughly delighted with the surgery and the results – I am going back out in 6 months for my tummy tuck, implants and probably another thigh lift – I really really cant wait !!!
The only thing I would offer as any other advice is deal directly with Turkey – They are great and will give you all the advice you need and also exactly how things will be out there. Thats the only reason I gave them a 4/5 was miscommunication this end and also a fellow traveller had some problems too but all was rectified in Turkey.
I enjoyed my own space but was also lucky to have a fellow brit there having had surgery too so we did amuse each other at times. I will say its a very isolated apartment block especially if your not over confident about going out (Turkey is very different!!) and to be fair i only nipped to the shop a couple of times on my own. If you think that being on your own is going to be tough take someone!! If you just get bored I found my netbook and Skype was invaluable!!! Also its very expensive to use mobiles out there so Skype saved me a fortune!!
Thankyou again Revitalize – I cant begin to tell you how happy i am with everything and cant wait to see you again later this year!!
