I was informed by the NHS that my cataract would be reassessed in 12 months. Not wanting to wait, I explored the option of seeking treatment abroad. I was genuinely impressed with the Operations Abroad team’s efficiency. Within 2 weeks, I underwent the operation, spent 3 days overseas, and returned home fully treated.
