I chose Home and Away company after doing a lot of research and felt that Zahid, the patient communicator, and surgeon Dr. Murat Üstün gave me lots of advice, information, and reassurance. This gave me confidence to arrange surgery through them in Turkey. The dietitian, Yagmur, was also very helpful and informative before and after surgery. Zahid found me an outstanding surgeon, Dr. Üstün, who initially planned a gastric bypass but opted for a gastric sleeve during the operation due to my thick stomach. The surgery was successful, despite the quote being slightly higher for the sleeve. The hospital care was exceptional, ensuring my well-being even when I developed a high temperature before departure. Abilities regarding airport transfers and hotel arrangements could have been clearer. I am back from Turkey and recommended my daughter for the surgery, which she successfully underwent, like me, resulting in significant weight loss.
