Having my rhinoplasty in Turkey was a novel experience. The airport transfer was efficient, and the hospital was incredibly luxurious. The doctor and team provided excellent support pre and post-operation. During the initial recovery days, I focused on eating and resting. Exploring the city post-recovery was enjoyable, especially since Istanbul accommodated many others who had undergone surgery, reducing stares compared to the UK. Overall, going abroad for the procedure felt liberating and more confident than having it at home.
