Citizens travelling outside of their home country for medical treatment, but only in accredited facilities. The facility has to be JCI Accredited or have an international equivalent. Coverage available for most countries, but some would have to be approved by the insurer.

Comprehensive travel accident cover modified for medical travelers and amended to cover accidents or unintended outcomes resulting from medical procedures.

In the event of an accident resulting from a medical procedure incurred while on a specific trip for the purpose of receiving medical or surgical treatment outside their country of residence.

Limitations on hospitals and clinics

Global Protective Solutions (GPS) has pre-approved procedures and requires patients to obtain treatment in an approved facility. Other procedures and facilities would have to be approved to be eligible for coverage.
