Algae therapy

The ocean is full of rich vitamins, minerals and trace elements and sea algae absorb high concentrations of these elements. Algae therapy uses specially prepared marine algae, which is rich in nutrients, mineral ingredients and trace elements to help the body function at its optimum.  Algae packs are often used as part of the Thalassotherapy regimen.

 

A warm compress is made from a mix of algae and then placed on the body for a short while to absorb.  

 

Algae has excellent moisturising and toning properties and is a superb skin and detoxing treatment as the high mineral concentrations are very regenerative and some algae have anti-bacterial properties.  Algae is also beneficial for the treatment of cellulite, reducing toxins, increasing metabolism and improving skin appearance.  Also beneficial for the treatment of rheumatism.
