Procera bridgework in Slovakia

Bob from the UK hadn't visited the dentist for a number of years and his teeth had fallen into a bad state.  With a few teeth needing work and his bridgework losing its veneers he felt he was beginning to look a bit like "Jaws" from the Bond film.  Bob's original dentist had left the NHS and he couldn't find anyone willing to take him on as an NHS patient.  He visited some local dentists to get some quotes but found them too expensive so he decided to search the internet for cosmetic dentistry abroad. 

Said Bob:  "Two companies in Europe caught my attention; one in Poland and one in Slovakia.  I was particularly drawn to the Dental Holiday & Spa in Slovakia because the website answered most of my questions and I liked the fact that my point of contact was with an English person.  Furthermore, there was information about flights from the UK, pick up's from the airport and hotel accommodation reservations.  These things, along with some of the comments of former clients, gave me the confidence to proceed.  There is a common misconception in the UK that any former Soviet bloc country is at the back of beyond and a bit third world but I am happy to say that the opposite is true and I found the Slovak people and Piestany quite charming. 

"On arriving at the clinic I was immediately reassured by Dr Marek that he knew what he was doing.  I had thought that I'd look the place over, discuss options and prices then think about it for a while but I was more than happy to go straight ahead with treatment and it was good to have a dentist who had the time to speak with you.  I opted for Procera bridgework, which hadn't been offered at home, as getting the bridge fixed was my priority.  We discussed and agreed the price, also including removing some horrible Amalgam fillings.  I was amazed that the dental technician asked how I'd like my teeth to look - I've never been asked that by any dentist/technician in the UK.

"The whole experience was far less bother than I had expected and despite having a lot of work done it involved only a little discomfort.  During my two visits I felt that I had Dr Marek's undivided attention and he wasn't working with an eye on the clock and his next patient.  The work is done to the highest standard not down to a budget.  I now have a lovely set of white teeth, smile more, feel more confident and am told I look younger - all for about a half or a third of what I would have paid in the UK.  I happily recommend the experience - it's amazing how many people in the UK put up with poor dental care or pay through the nose for mediocre work when professional dental treatment is available just a short flight away".
