The surgery is carried out within the first few days of arrival in Poland following a final medical consultation with the surgeon. Thereafter, your nurse will make daily trips to care for you in the recuperation centre to ensure a high level of aftercare throughout the recovery period. During the second week, ample time is devoted to leisure activities. A basic health check is carried out prior to surgery, covering haemoglobin, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, blood clotting time, and electrolytes, plus an ECG for any patients due to undergo a general anaesthetic. These tests are included in the basic price, but you can have a broad range of additional health tests at a Medical Diagnostic Centre if required.

Euromedica Cosmetic Surgery offers a comprehensive range of corrective procedures for both men and women. All treatments include a comprehensive daily after-care regime following surgery, up until the day of departure.
Total package prices include the surgery, pre-operative medical tests, daily medical care (changing of dressings, painkillers, ointments, sleeping tablets - with the surgeon's permission), food, and accommodation. “In June 2004 I made my first trip to Poland to have a face-lift and upper eye surgery at the age of 66, Naturally being very apprehensive but having little alternative as make-up alone no longer made any difference, I had a chat with a lady who had had this done previously, who put my mind to rest.
Well it was a great success, minimal pain but with a good deal of bruising and swelling, which subsided after approximately 9 days.
Fortunately the accommodation is in very private and secluded grounds so we each could look awful without observation. The accommodation is delightful and the food very healthy and tasty, the soups particularly welcome during the first couple of days (after surgery).
I returned on October 2010 for another lift, but my eyes did not need to be done again, and met more delightful ladies.
Poland is so beautiful it really has to be visited on its own merits. The architecture is so lovely one can wander around and always see lovely sights. The river area is very lovely and one can spend a small fortune at the very upmarket shops, but there are also cheap and cheerful places to buy in. It’s difficult to understand seeing so many beautifully shaped and dressed girls and women, it puts the UK to shame the way personal standards have slipped in the past 30 years.
The aftercare is excellent as the nurse comes in almost daily to inspect and treat suture lines etc.
Last but not least there is Alina the Director who makes sure we get from and to the airport (10 minutes) and our flights on time and looks after our well being.
I was afraid the effect would be so noticeable family and friends would see what I had been up to but no-one has ever guessed, they just remark how well I look.
Go on you older ladies like myself, just do it!”
