Breast enlargement in Brussels

Hello, my name is Siobhan, i’m 34 years old and had a breast enlargement with Elyzea in November 2010. I wanted to share my experience in order to help others who may be considering undergoing a similar procedure abroad. I am now 8 weeks post op and am over the moon with the results!

I had felt unhappy with the size of my chest for many years but had never really been brave enough to take the plunge. It wasn’t until about a year ago that I seriously began considering surgery. My GP had suggested I consider surgery abroad (Brussels specifically) due to the high standard of medical procedures and also the cost. I had heard lots of good things about Elyzea through friends who had been to the clinic for different procedures , and they recommended them highly.

I stayed at one of the hotels suggested on their website which was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. The clinic was impressively clean and very modern. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. The consultation with Sue prior to my procedure was fantastic! The advice and information she gave me regarding the aftercare process really put my mind at rest. She answered all my questions and I felt I was in really safe hands. My surgeon was Dr Dedoncker and he is amazing! He understood exactly what look I was aiming to achieve and recommended 280cc under the muscle. As I have a small frame, going under the muscle was necessary to achieve the natural look I wanted. He also used surgical glue which meant no stitches on the outside!

I was given really good advice around using pain relief following my surgery which I maintained for about 6 days. This really helped and allowed me to feel more uncomfortable during the recovery stage, rather than being in any pain. I followed the advice for cleaning the scars and they have healed up lovely. I now have 2 little lines which will gradually fade in time. At my 6 week check up I was shown how to massage my new boobs and am now massaging my scars daily using Bio oil, all of which aids the healing process.

All of my friends (who’ve been lucky enough to see!) are so impressed with how natural and perfect they look. Perfect for my size and exactly what I wanted! I have two friends who now want to use Elyzea when they have their current implants replaced! I’ve followed all the advice given to me by Elyzea and i’ve had no problems at all. I feel great!

I would recommend Elyzea to anyone who may be considering surgery abroad. Not for the cost being almost half of what it would be in the UK – but because the standard of care and the quality of their work is excellent, they really took care of me. Thank you Elyzea and Dr Dedoncker – you have made my dream come true......and now for the 1^st time ever, I can’t wait for the summer!!
